[The Stage Year Book • 1919]

Romanticismo by Gerolamo Rovetta
King's Hall†, London
Rôle: Marquis Giacomino d'Arfo
4/14/1918 matinée

ref: Inafferrabile Leslie Howard, Theatre - Romanticismo • Includes cast information and reviews
ref: LeslieHoward.net - Theatre • PDF link is broken
ref: This performance is not mentioned in the listing found for the 3/19/1918 performance in The Stage Year Book • 1919; however, Ms Di Verduno's site (1st ref.) has a review for this performance and it does mention the date and Leslie Howard by name.
†Reviews refer to "King's Hall, Covent Garden, London." I have found many listings of theatre performances in various publications which refer to "King's Hall (Covent Garden)." I contacted Mr. Lloyd of ArthurLloyd.co.uk and he seems to believe this to be the King's Hall associated with the Holburn Restaurant. This seems plausible and it is in the vicinity of Covent Garden, but when attempting to find references to the King's Hall at the Holburn Restaurant location, King's Hall is always referred to as "King's Hall, Holborn Restaurant" (as early as 1895), never as "King's Hall (Covent Garden)." I have never found a reference to "King's Hall, Holburn Restaurant" in a theatre publication.
